I have used Lightroom and Photoshop for years but recently purchased Luminar to take advantage of some of the user friendly options. This book by Christian Holberg is a great resource. I had watched a couple of videos on YouTube by Luminar and others but I appreciated the way that Christian methodically walked me through not only all the bells and whistles but gave examples of his own images and applied different variations of tweaks in order to show how they react. Also, there were varying skill levels that were suggested for those not used to working with layers, etc. In one afternoon, I sat with my iPad on my houseboat and worked through the entire publication. It is an excellent resource and I highly recommend it.
PS….I bought this ebook a month before, but failed to remember that I had already bought it, so I bought it again. When I realized my mistake, I was issued an immediate refund, so I really appreciated their attentive customer service aspect as well.

Until I bought Luminar4 I had always used the in-house Mac photo enhancement systems. For the last few years I have travelled quite a bit in Oman, UAE & the Eastern Med. & really been hooked on taking better pictures and make better use of my equipment.. I have also been going back through my “never to be repeated” shots to see how I can enhance them.
Whilst I taught myself quite a lot about Luminar 4 having started off with Luminar 3 your Guide has been a revelation And has begun to take me to a different level in several areas.
I am NOT a software geek so the way you have structured the Guide has enabled me to quickly get to grips with the nuances as well as the basic system. I am always dipping into it and trying things out.
    I highly recommend the Guide.

I was comfortable using Luminar but there were some advanced features, especially applying masks, that I was not sure how they were used. After going through the book , and trying out the different examples I am a lot more confident in using Luminar as part of my post processing workflow, especially if I want to get some oomph out my skyscapes.
